Compressing the dynamic range will make notes sustain longer and the sound tighter, helping you avoid signal clipping in other effects or your amplifier.
Like its predecessor, the DOD Compressor 280 features independent Compression and Output controls, giving you complete tonal control. True bypass ensures that your guitar tone remains pristine, even when the DOD 280 is turned off. This is a significant improvement from the original, which would color your bypassed tone. The metal chassis is pedalboard friendly, and the orange metallic flake paint with a flat black bottom provides a distinctive look.
